Reminder: Township Officials Asked to Complete Parks and Recreation Survey 

Elected and appointed township officials are strongly encouraged to take a few minutes this week to complete an important survey about local park and recreation services in Pennsylvania. PSATS is cooperating with the Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society and Penn State’s Department of Recreation, Park, and Tourism Management on this brief online survey. If you have already completed the survey, thank you for your input!    

The survey focuses on topics such as the role of parks and recreation in your community, funding/financing, as well as diversity, equity, and inclusion of community services. The information you provide will help inform policy, funding, and initiatives for Pennsylvania park and recreation services.    

Time is running out and your participation is needed to make sure township’s unique experiences and opinions are represented. Your responses will be confidential.  Take 10 minutes today to be sure township voices are heard!
