Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program Informational Webinar
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s Build America Bureau is hosting an informational webinar on Thursday, July 20, at 3 p.m. about the new Rural and Tribal Assistance Pilot Program. Townships can click here to register for the webinar.
The Rural and Tribal Assistance program was created by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law with $3.4 million in grants available beginning August 14. Townships are eligible to apply, and NO matching funds are required. Grants may be used to hire staff or advisers to help with development-phase activities for infrastructure projects, including feasibility studies; preliminary engineering and design; environmental review; revenue forecasting; financial feasibility analysis; and drafting and negotiation of agreements.
