PSATS’s own Dave Sanko testified yesterday in the House; telling the House Tourism Committee “The 250th anniversary of America provides an opportunity for all townships to reflect on their unique contributions, and their crucial role to our nation’s history. Each township has something unique to offer, whether it be a historical location or notable individuals. While some may suggest that history is being lost to development or neglect, others know that much of our history is preserved in books, lectures, and the very buildings and barns that house the stories of our nation’s past.  

“All townships can join in the celebration by exploring their own local history from revolutionary times and beyond. Just reach out to your local historical societies as well as chapters of the Daughters or Sons of the American Revolution.”
