Townships Receive Multimodal Grants, New Round Opens Soon
Gov. Josh Shapiro announced funding for 58 transportation projects in 37 counties using $49.6 million in Multimodal Transportation Fund grants. These grants are intended to ensure a safe and reliable system of transportation for all Pennsylvanians. Several projects will help local governments address bridges and roadways in need of repair or replacement.
More than 20 townships will receive grant funds while many more will see projects take place in their borders. One project in Union County will bundle bridge replacement for multiple municipal-owned structures in five municipalities. To learn more about the projects, click here.
