U.S. DOT Infrastructure Grants Available for Roads, Stormwater
USDOT has announced the FY2025 funding round of the Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity (RAISE) grant program. This program is funded through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law for transportation infrastructure projects that improve safety, environmental sustainability, mobility, and community connectivity.
Townships are eligible to apply through January 30, 2025, for capital and planning projects, including:
- highway, bridge, or other road projects;
- public transportation;
- port infrastructure investments;
- intermodal projects;
- projects to replace or rehabilitate a culvert or prevent stormwater runoff to improve habitats for aquatic species; and
- planning, preparation, design, and other pre-construction activities.
