Violence Intervention and Prevention Grants Available
PCCD announced $45 million in funding for FY 2024-25 under the Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) Grants Program and the Collaborative Community Violence Intervention (CCVI) Strategies Grants Program. These grants support a wide range of intervention and response strategies designed to reduce community violence. Townships are eligible to apply through October 31, 2024 on behalf of a law enforcement agency for one of the following tracks:
- VIP Expansion/Enhancement Grants: Support the continuation, expansion, and enhancement of strategies to intervene and respond to community violence.
- VIP Start-up Grants: Provide financial, technical assistance, and training to grassroots community organizations to support new programming, strengthen their infrastructure, enhance sustainability, and meet essential capacity needs.
- CCVI Planning Grants: Provide funding for municipalities to support the development of violence reduction plans.
