Western PA Canoe Access Grants Now Available
The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy (WPC) has announced the availability of its Canoe Access Development Fund. Grants of up to $5,000 will be available to improve or develop canoe access sites on rivers and streams. In addition to funding, WPC provides technical assistance for design, permitting, construction, outreach, and long-term sustainability.
Townships with access sites located along a stream or river described in the Canoeing Guide to Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia are eligible to apply through November 20, 2023.
