Wildfire Protection Grants Awarded to Rural Fire Companies

Gov. Tom Wolf has announced that $602,306 in grants have been awarded to 109 fire companies in rural areas and communities with a population of less than 10,000. The funding may be used for training and equipment purchases directly related to fighting brush and forest fires. Click here for a list of fire companies that received awards.
